In this video, you'll meet Mack Chiles, a retired Navy SEAL veteran, entrepreneur, and founder of Macks Belts, who took an extraordinary leap of faith to pursue a completely new chapter in life. After overcoming a career-ending injury and rebuilding his future from the ground up, Mack transformed a small belt-making operation into a successful American-made business before setting his sights on an even bigger challenge—becoming a first-generation Florida cattleman.
What started as a dream, a borrowed tractor, and a handful of cattle has grown into a family-driven ranching operation dedicated to raising high-quality American beef while preserving the traditions and values of rural Florida. Through hard work, perseverance, faith, and a commitment to stewardship, Mack and his family are building a legacy centered on agriculture, community, and feeding American families.

He wasn't handed a family ranch, a herd of cattle, or the financial resources to launch a large-scale operation. Instead, Mack and his wife, Spenser Chiles, built Palm Cattle Company and Chiles Ranch from the ground up through hard work, determination, and an unwavering belief in their vision.

Faced with the challenges of entering an industry where they had no family land they embraced a steep learning curve, invested countless hours into developing their operation, and took calculated risks to grow their business one step at a time. Their journey is a testament to perseverance, entrepreneurship, and the power of pursuing a dream despite uncertainty. Today, the ranch stands as proof that success is not always inherited—it can be built through grit, sacrifice, innovation, and a commitment to creating something meaningful for future generations.
.

Today, Mack is passionate about inspiring the next generation of farmers, ranchers, and entrepreneurs by sharing the lessons he has learned through his own journey. He is especially dedicated to encouraging fellow veterans to explore opportunities in agriculture and ranching, demonstrating that the skills developed through military service—leadership, discipline, resilience, and problem-solving—can translate into successful careers in the agricultural industry.
Through mentorship, education, and leading by example, Mack hopes to show others that agriculture offers not only a rewarding livelihood, but also a chance to build a lasting legacy, serve their communities, and steward the land for future generations.

His goal is to demonstrate that becoming a first-generation rancher is achievable for anyone willing to put in the work, embrace continuous learning, and stay committed to their vision. Through his own experience building a ranch from the ground up, Mack hopes to break down the misconception that agriculture is only accessible to those born into it. By sharing both his successes and challenges, he encourages others to take the leap, pursue opportunities in agriculture, and recognize that with the right mindset, determination, and perseverance, it is possible to build a thriving operation and create a lasting legacy from scratch.
